Alberobello Puglia Film Commission is proud to announce that “Prey and Escape” entirely shooted in Apulia and directed by young talented Ita-Uk director Vito Bruno Girardi with Orla Fitzgerald (extraordinary interpreter protagonist of the Movie “The Wind that Shaker the Barley” by Ken Loach Palme d’Or at Cannes 2006), Anne Carteret and Katia Winter will screen in the Cannes Short Film Corner (from May 13th to May 22nd 2009) which is frequented by film festival programmers looking for material and by distributors and buyers for specialty TV channels from all over the world.

“Prey and Escape… Apulia, Italy. Spring. Nowadays. Two women, a photographer and a painter, working in the sunlight of Puglia, individually share two different stories with two different 20-year-old girls. Followed by youth, the two women will remember their first artistic passions. The story is a journey, throughout Mediterranean landscapes, in which a Painter and a Photographer will discover the desires of two young girls in which virtue of curiosity and courage will come across with extreme power. The film is a hymn of art, beauty and generosity…
